Brandon Pittman, CWCA

As the owner, he works hard to assure that the Agency runs smoothly, but he is happiest when interacting with existing and prospective clients.  At heart he stills loves construction.  Constructing the policy you need to protect your business, employees and families.  After all, all of this is still about the people and protecting what matters most.  The life style that all these families have grown accustomed too.

Brandon is a life-long resident of Wake County. He earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Johnston County Community College. He also holds a North Carolina License as a General Contractor. Prior to entering the insurance industry 2008, Brandon worked as a General Contractor with experience in Residential and Commercial Development. In what spare time he has, he enjoys traveling whether for business or pleasure, cooking and spending time with his family, friends and his dogs.

Hasten McDermott, CWCA

Hasten McDermott is a trusted commercial insurance advisor providing solutions for prospective and current clients to protect their assets and employees. He focuses primarily in the Healthcare & Specialty Trade Contractor industries. Hasten received his insurance license at age 18 and then attended college, graduating from Eastern Carolina University with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance. As an experienced Risk Advisor, he is able to show clients their greatest emerging threats whether inside or outside the insurance marketplace. Hasten has extensive experience in workers compensation. His professional expertise in workers compensation can help his clients avoid costly workers compensation audit overcharge errors. Committed to his professional development to better serve his clients, Hasten currently has six professional designations. He enjoys participating in various local and regional insurance workshops and conferences throughout the year. He currently resides in his native Johnston County, where he is a member of the Masonic Clayton Granite Lodge 191, enjoys spending time with friends, family, and his three year old son Kasen.

Diana McKnight, CWCA

Diana McKnight is the Chief Operating Officer for Pittman Insurance Group LLC.  She is responsible for the day to day management of our Agency’s operations, Human Resources and oversees the account management team. 

Diana grew up in New Jersey and earned a degree in Sociology from Rutgers University.  She moved to NC in 2004.   Prior to joining Pittman Insurance Group in 2014, she worked as an Account Manager in Employee Benefits for 14 years.   She joined Pittman Insurance Group as an account manager in commercial accounts and quickly transitioned into Operations after 2.5 years.  When she is not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, running and chauffeuring her children to and from Softball and Baseball games and practices as well as quality manicure and pedicure outings with her daughter.
